Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She was also the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors during her last year, she made her first appearance as director (and lighting designer) in SSC's King Lear. She did a brief stint at Pomona College. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Post has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with who she has two daughters. Post inspires numerous Hollywood actors as she is an amazing actress as well as the perfect wife and mother.
